St. Stephan’s

St. Stephan’s was built in the 16th century by the Cybo family.  The façade retains an 18th century clock, as well as a splendid wheel (or rudder) shaped rose window with a central sun and a painting with the Cybo coat of arms. The interior has three naves and was rebuilt in 1749 in Rococo style.
The church houses a 1759 canvas  depicting  the "Martyrdom of St. Stephan” by Giuseppe Rosi. In the right- hand chapel one can admire a 1559 "Nativity" and in the one on the left a “Pity" and a double-sided banner of the Brotherhood of the Giovannites. The stone baptismal font with the noble coats of arms of the Cybo princes and 15th century frescoes are also of great interest.
